Art Gallery “Nicolas Manev”

Art Gallery “Nicolas Manev” is located in the center of town of Chirpan. The museum is housed in a building dating back to 1867 (known among locals as “The house of the Bey”) and  designed in the typical for Bulgaria in XIX century style.

Chirpan is the birthplace of many other masters of word, song, and pictorial art. Among others: the poet Peyo Yavorov; the artist, Georgi Danchov-Zografina: the violin virtuoso, the companion of Vasil Levski Prof. Emil Kamilarov.

The gallery is created and donated to municipality Chirpan in 2000 by  Nicolas Manev. The gallery hosts works of Nicolas Manev and other artists.
